Job Description

Duncan & Ross is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead our offshore oil and gas projects. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing process engineering activities, developing project execution plans, and ensuring all process engineering deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, and budgets for process engineering scope.
  • Process Design: Develop and review process design documents, including PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and process simulations.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the process engineering team.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct technical reviews and audits to ensure design integrity and compliance with industry standards.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring timely delivery and quality of equipment and services.
  • Commissioning and Startup: Oversee factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) for process equipment.
  • Process Safety: Ensure all process designs comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses (e.g., HAZOP, HAZID) related to process systems.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including design calculations, datasheets, and as-built drawings.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
