Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Director Procurement to join our team at PALAZZO VERSACE DUBAI. This key position involves overseeing all aspects of purchasing, including managing vendors, negotiating contracts, and analyzing market trends.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely deliveries.

  • Monitor inventory levels, identify opportunities for cost savings, and implement effective inventory management strategies.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures.

  • Analyze market trends, conduct market surveys, and make recommendations for improved purchasing practices.

  • Prepare detailed reports on purchasing activities, providing insights on trends and suggesting areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel environment.

  • 3-4 years' purchasing/procurement experience within a high-end hotel in the UAE.

  • Relevant degree in Finance/Accounting or a related business discipline from an academic institution.

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with excellent communication and analytical skills.
