Main Responsibilities
  1. Plan, direct, coordinate, and implement all security matters for The UAE Lottery.
  2. Develop detailed security plans for each lottery game and oversee their implementation.
  3. Develop and implement security guidelines and policies for lottery-related computer issues, including both physical and data security.
  4. Ensure proper training for both lottery and vendor employees.
  5. Review lottery drawing procedures, including mathematical confidence level tests, to ensure proper procedural and security methods.
  6. Establish guidelines for information control and security, and monitor the implementation of security measures for system software.
  7. Coordinate disaster recovery plans to ensure systems can be sustained and recovered in the event of a catastrophic data processing failure.
  8. Request and assign priorities for routine and special investigations, coordinating through the Deputy Secretary for Enforcement.
  9. Serve on the staff committee for lottery game development, including promotions, research, and incentive games, and coordinate with vendors to prepare specifications and obtain necessary approvals.
  10. Evaluate employee performance and prepare and sign Performance Evaluation Reports.
  11. Receive grievances and complaints, investigate causes, discuss with employees, and resolve or recommend solutions.
  12. Approve leave requests and review sick leave usage to identify any patterns of abuse.
  13. Perform related work as required.
