Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Related Field: A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, data management, or a related field is required.
  • Extensive Experience in Data Governance and Metadata Management: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data governance and metadata management.
  • Proven Track Record in Data Governance: A proven track record of implementing data governance frameworks and driving data quality improvements is essential.
  • Data Governance Principles and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of data governance principles, including data stewardship, ownership, and accountability, is required.
  • Data Governance Committee Experience: Experience in organizing and running Data Governance Committees is preferred.
  • Stakeholder Liaison and Communication Skills: The ability to independently liaise with stakeholders and business users to address data quality concerns is essential.
  • Presentation and Communication Skills: Demonstrated capability to present and provide demos to business teams effectively communicating the value of data governance programs.
  • Data Governance Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with data governance tools and technologies, such as Collibra, Informatica, or Alation, is preferred.
  • Problem-Solving and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
Preferred Skills:
  • Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously are preferred.
  • Data Governance Certification: Certification in data governance or related fields is a plus.
