Job Summary:

Talent Pal is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager - Construction Operations to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the construction logistics for residential development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the smooth operation of construction activities, ensuring that all necessary resources are in place and that the project is completed on time.
  • Coordinate the movement of materials, equipment, and personnel to ensure that the project is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure that all necessary approvals are obtained and that the project is compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed to the highest standards.
  • Plan and manage logistics routes to ensure that access to all parts of the project is maintained.
  • Chair logistics coordination meetings to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Prepare reports as required to ensure that the project is on track and that any issues are identified and addressed promptly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction-related field or equivalent construction-related work experience.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in field construction and logistics.
  • Experience in the construction of large infrastructure programs in the UAE, preferably in Dubai.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of logistics engineering and construction-related processes as well as industry practices.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with logistics management and construction.
  • Proven ability to perform in a lead capacity on a program.
