We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Relations Trainee to join our team at Sephora. As a Public Relations Trainee, you will play a key role in supporting our PR and Events team in various aspects of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Representation: Assist in understanding and representing Sephora retail and e-commerce, Sephora Collection brand, and exclusive brands to key stakeholders.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with editorial teams, key opinion leaders (KOLS), and influencers to secure media coverage and partnerships.
  • Media Outreach: Assist in pitching angles and garnering coverage for Sephora's brand and events.
  • Press Kit Management: Compile and dispatch press kits to media and influencers.
  • Administrative Support: Manage purchase orders, invoicing, and other administrative tasks related to finance and billing.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare post-event debriefs, monthly and quarterly coverage reports, and other analytical reports to track media coverage and event success.
  • Creative Concept Development: Brainstorm and ideate with the team on creative concepts for upcoming activations and events.
  • Kitting and Dispatch: Assist in kitting and dispatching products to media and influencers.
  • Media and Influencer List Management: Update and maintain media and influencer lists to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Event Support: Provide support for in-store events, multi-branded events, and mono-branded events.

Requirements

  • Work Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a similar role or recent graduate from a related field of study.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and PowerPoint.
  • Languages: Arabic (mandatory) and English.
  • Competencies:
    • Adaptability: Willingness to learn, flexible, and ability to quickly adapt to new situations.
    • Excellent Writing Skills: Strong writing skills to effectively communicate with media and influencers.
