The Senior Manager – DLT and Blockchain Oversight assists the Director in the day-to-day oversight of Blockchain entities and plays a crucial role in driving internal and external projects. This role involves assessing Blockchain entities for registration, reviewing business plans of Blockchain entities, and coordinating initiatives across ADGM and with external stakeholders. The Senior Manager also conducts risk assessments, compliance audits, and helps draft regulatory guidance.

  1. Daily Oversight and Operational Management:
    • Assist the Director in the daily management of Blockchain entities, including Blockchain foundations.
    • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring effective monitoring and compliance of Blockchain entities.
    • Serve as the acting Director in their absence, ensuring seamless continuity of operations and decision-making.
  2. Risk and Compliance Management:
    • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential risks related to Blockchain.
    • Perform regular compliance checks and audits to ensure adherence to ADGM regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with ADGM regulations for Blockchain entities.
  3. Monitoring and Evaluation:
    • Implement proactive, risk-based monitoring of Blockchain foundation licensees and Blockchain entities.
    • Monitor blockchain activities for compliance and risk management using advanced analytics tools.
    • Review business plans of Blockchain entities to ensure compliance and feasibility.
    • Assist in the evaluation and registration process of Blockchain entities.
    • Prepare detailed reports and high-quality presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
  4. Regulatory Guidance and Development:
    • Provide regulatory guidance to the team and stakeholders, ensuring understanding and adherence to ADGM's regulations.
    • Assist in drafting regulatory guidance and frameworks for Blockchain.
  5. Project and Resource Management:
    • Drive and manage multiple internal and external projects, ensuring alignment with ADGM's strategic goals.
    • Coordinate and align initiatives and projects across ADGM and with external stakeholders.
    • Assist in the preparation and management of the division's resources.
  6. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Provide training and mentoring to junior staff members, ensuring the development of necessary skills and knowledge within the team.
    • Monitor and report on the performance of the Blockchain Division, identifying areas for improvement.
