Job Description:

The Lifeguard Instructor will be responsible for delivering comprehensive lifeguard training courses in accordance with industry standards and guidelines. This individual will play a critical role in preparing lifeguards to effectively monitor and respond to aquatic emergencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lifeguard training courses, including both classroom instruction and practical skills assessment, in accordance with established curriculum and standards.
  • Demonstrate proper lifeguarding techniques, rescue procedures, and emergency response protocols to trainees.
  • Provide hands-on instruction in CPR, First Aid, AED operation, and other lifesaving skills relevant to lifeguarding.
  • Assess trainees' performance and proficiency through written examinations, skills evaluations, and scenario-based simulations.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages active participation, skill development, and confidence-building among trainees.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Lifeguard Instructor from a recognized accrediting agency.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching lifeguard training courses and conducting skills assessments.
  • Proficiency in CPR, First Aid, and AED administration.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
