Oversee and participate in inspections during construction phases to guarantee compliance with fire safety standards.
Address requests for building modifications from departments or tenants, evaluating their compatibility with fire safety strategies.
Assist in the development of fire safety intervention and evacuation protocols for all company facilities, including subsidiaries.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure fire safety architecture is integrated into building designs across various facilities.
Ensure the provision of fire protection measures, including emergency exits, detection systems, firefighting equipment, and evacuation plans.
Support the design, installation, maintenance, and management of fire stop systems to meet required fire resistance ratings.
Regularly inspect fire stop assemblies and report any damages or breaches for prompt repair.
Conduct routine inspections of hydrants and firefighting equipment at company properties to ensure operational readiness for emergencies.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the reporting manager.

Contribute to periodic audits of established policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Fire Science, or a related field.

Experience
Minimum of 5 years in fire engineering or related fire safety roles.
At least 5 years of experience in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire safety systems.
Strong understanding of UAE Civil Defense fire codes and NFPA standards is essential.
Excellent communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills are required.
Proficient in using tablets, auditing software, MS Office, and AutoCAD.
Familiarity with emergency management practices is advantageous.

  • Preferred:
    Experience in fire engineering within the GCC or UAE is preferred.
    Background in airport fire and life safety is a plus.
    Experience in emergency management is beneficial.
  • Certifications:
    NEBOSH Fire & Safety Risk Management certification is preferred.
    Membership in NFPA, IFE, or IFSM is advantageous.
