Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Nurse to join our team at DLMC Consultants LLC. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our aesthetic clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnostic and Treatment Services: Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues, utilizing X-rays and computer-generated imaging as needed.
  • Dental Treatments: Provide routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity, and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers to patients.
  • Administrative Tasks: Administer local anesthesia to patients as required, educate patients on good oral hygiene practices, and advise them on proper aftercare following certain dental procedures.
  • Oral Cancer Screenings: Perform oral cancer screenings to ensure early detection and treatment.
  • Medication Administration: Prescribe antibiotics and pain medications to patients as required.
  • Instrument Sterilization: Ensure that all dental instruments and equipment are sterilized before each use.
  • Impressions and Fabrication: Take impressions of patients' mouths for the fabrication of customized mouthguards and dentures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene or a related field preferred.
  • Current licensure as a dental nurse or hygienist in the state of practice.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental setting, preferably in an aesthetic clinic or cosmetic dentistry practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
