We are seeking a highly experienced Category Manager to join our team at MAJID AL FUTTAIM. As a key member of our procurement and marketing team, you will be responsible for leading the procurement and marketing category strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving cost savings.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement and Contract Management: Develop and implement procurement and contract management strategies to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Category Management: Lead the procurement and marketing category strategy, including market research, trend analysis, and supplier management.
- Sourcing and Procurement: Manage the procurement process, including RFX processes, to ensure smooth delivery of operations to procurement category managers.
- Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of procurement and marketing professionals to achieve business objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferably Bachelor of Technology).
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in procurement and 5+ years in marketing category.
- Skills: Working knowledge of procurement and contract management related software, experience in procurement sourcing and oversight, and operational experience in working on SAP Ariba, e-Rfx, and digital skills.
