Job Title: Senior Engineer Maintenance

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer Maintenance to join our team at Oil And Gas Job Search Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Oversee the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and modification of instrument and control equipment and systems in the plant to ensure safe and efficient services.
  • Develop and Implement Maintenance Plans: Review preventive maintenance plans/schedules, prepare task lists/maintenance programs for instrument and control systems/equipment, and supervise the execution of such programs.
  • Analyze and Troubleshoot Equipment: Diagnose, analyze, and carry out root cause failure analysis, highlighting reasons for equipment failure and advising on remedial measures. Study and carry out residual life assessments of critical instrument and control equipment, suggesting corrective actions.
  • Provide Technical Guidance: Offer guidance and advice on actions to be taken on chronic problems, reviewing requirements for major repairs and spares replacements to ensure all equipment and systems meet internationally recognized engineering standards.
  • Participate in Risk Assessment Exercises: Participate in risk assessment exercises, preparing recommendations and guidelines to address findings.
  • Manage Spare Parts and Inventory: Ensure availability of spares, coordinate and follow up on new material orders, create new proposals for stocking spares (PFS) mainly for new equipment, create item change requests, spare parts control, and delete unwanted inventories from stock.
  • Develop and Implement Maintenance Procedures: Prepare new maintenance procedures, method statements for new activities, and schedule long-term activities as per plant shutdown schedules.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Plan and coordinate maintenance activities with other departments and sections to optimize the utilization of section manpower and plan and control major and minor shutdown activities and expenditures.
  • Provide Technical Support for New Projects: Provide technical support for development, implementation, and commissioning of new projects in the design and specifications to optimize costs and ensure compliance with applicable standards and best practices.
  • Prepare and Implement Plant Change Requests: Prepare new plant change requests (PCR), study the proposed PCR for implementation, and work out plans and schedules for implementing them.
