We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cost Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi-based team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in cost scheduling, project controls, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities

Job Description
  • Develop and implement cost control procedures and processes.
  • Provide guidance to the project cost control team.
  • Coordinate with EPC Contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure adherence to financial goals.
  • Conduct audits to identify areas of improvement and optimize project performance.
  • Develop and maintain project baselines, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution.
  • Coach and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cost engineering and project controls.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum Experience & Skills:

  • 20+ years of diverse experience in Projects and/or Cost, including at least 5 years' experience in planning engineering, with at least 10 years of experience in Cost scheduling / Project Controls activities in the Oil, Gas, or Petrochemical industry.
