Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payment of all hotel bills and invoices.

Responsibilities

  1. Verify invoices against approved purchase orders and management approval.
  2. Coding invoices to the correct general ledger account and submitting them for verification.
  3. Obtaining approval for invoices from the appropriate department before processing on the accounts payable system.
  4. Maintaining an up-to-date vendor/supplier database on the accounts payable system.
  5. Printing and submitting cheques with supporting documents for signatures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounting with at least 1 year in A/P in a Hotel.
  • Accounting diploma holder would be preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office mainly Excel is a must.
