**Overview of the role**

As a SAP Automation Test Lead you will help streamline and improve the SAP automation and testing and you will lead and participate in activities such as defining new scope and requirements, resolving issues, testing, supporting and working with other teams to meet the business needs ,also part of the role is to be responsible for test automation design, testing practises and ensuring a smooth user experience.

**What you will do**
- Application mamangment, consult, teach, troubleshoot, setup and maintain respective domain solutions to agreed service level standards.
- Investigates and develops specifications for system changes to handle workloads and high availability.
- Develops and maintains documentation for Technical solution modifications.
- Liaise with software suppliers and the Change Management team for problem resolution and deployment of system changes.
- Work with internal and external implementation team members and partners to contribute to the development, testing and deployment of solutions.
- Adheres to software development and maintenance standards by maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of internal and external development best practices.
- To liaise with relevant managers and stakeholders in IT to ensure full collaboration and understanding on critical topics as one IT team.
- Contribute to the improvement of the solutions and business processes.
- Maintains and upgrades professional knowledge, management skills and domain expertise by using continuous learning & development tools.

**Required Skills to be successful**
- Providing support and maintenance for the SAP Test Automation products.
- Experience with Agile and SAP Activate implementation methods.
- Good Consulting Skills and ability to work with business users and stakeholders independently.
- Must understand ABAP.
- Behavioural Competencies: Ability to learn new technologies, Innovative thinking, Adaptability, Strong Customer Relationship.

**What equips you for the role**
- University degree in Information Systems or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years or equivalent experience in implementing and support of SAP TEST AUTOMATION.
- At least 2 or 3 full cycle implementations of test automation in SAP ECC or S/4 HANA.
- Should have extensive experience in designing and developing test automation framework and test methodologies.
- Experience in test infrastructure setup, upgrades and migrations.
- Experience in project management and maintenance of the test portfolio.
- Knowledge of test automation tools Tricentis TOSCA, Tricentis Neoload, UFT, Accelq, Selenium etc.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools Jmeter, Loadrunner etc.
- Knowledge of software testing practises and automation techniques.
- Knowledge of software testing lifecycle, DevOps and CICD tools.
