**Overview**:

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Pre-Operative Care**:

- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments, including detailed patient histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Assess and mitigate potential surgical risks in collaboration with surgeons and anesthesiologists.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures, potential risks, outcomes, and detailed recovery plans.
- Ensure patients are well-prepared for surgery, addressing all queries and concerns.

**Post-Operative Care**:

- Oversee immediate and long-term post-operative recovery, addressing complications swiftly.
- Perform minor procedures, including suturing, wound care, and the removal of surgical drains or minor lesions.
- Provide pain management strategies and follow-up care to enhance recovery.
- Guide patients and families through recovery protocols, including medication instructions and lifestyle adjustments.

**Surgical and General Practice Expertise**:

- Leverage experience in various surgical subspecialties, including trauma surgery, oncologic surgery, mínimally invasive surgery, and gastrointestinal surgery.
- Spearhead trauma resuscitation efforts, optimizing team coordination and patient outcomes.
- Manage urgent medical concerns, including acute illnesses, trauma, and minor injuries.
- Perform minor surgical interventions such as suturing, excision of lumps (e.g., lipomas), and wound care.

**General Patient Care**:

- Provide primary healthcare services, including diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience with significant exposure to general surgery.
- Proven experience in trauma surgery, oncologic surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, and mínimally invasive techniques.
- Hands-on experience in cosmetic and post-operative care is an asset.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in performing minor surgical procedures.
- Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
