**Job Title: Retail Footwear Warehouse Manager**:

- As a Retail Footwear Warehouse Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee the daily operations of a footwear warehouse in a retail setting. You will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, leading a team of warehouse staff, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. Your role is crucial in maintaining efficient operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- **Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of footwear products.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses, damages, and discrepancies.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile inventory records with physical counts.
- **Warehouse Operations**:

- Plan and organize the layout of the warehouse to optimize space utilization.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of footwear products.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of orders to retail stores or customers.
- Implement and maintain proper storage and handling practices to preserve product quality.
- **Team Management**:

- Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Foster a positive work environment, encourage teamwork, and provide ongoing support and feedback.
- Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage to meet operational needs.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement development plans for team members.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding storage, handling, and transportation of goods.
- Implement security measures to prevent theft, loss, or damage to inventory.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement efficiency measures.
- Analyze warehouse data and generate reports to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as purchasing, logistics, and retail management, to streamline operations and enhance customer service.
- **Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in the retail or footwear industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership abilities and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
