**Duties**:

- Diagnose and treat dental and facial irregularities in patients, primarily focusing on pediatrics.
- Develop treatment plans and provide orthodontic care to patients.
- Utilize various orthodontic techniques and appliances to correct dental alignment.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals, such as dentists and oral surgeons, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental practice management systems, such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthodontic treatments and technologies.

**Requirements**:

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
- Valid state dental license to practice as an orthodontist.
- Board certification in orthodontics preferred.
- Strong knowledge of orthodontic principles, techniques, and procedures.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
