1. Stocking Shelves: Regularly restock shelves with merchandise according to established guidelines, ensuring that products are neatly arranged, facing forward, and organized by category.
2. Inventory Control: Assist in monitoring inventory levels and report discrepancies to the supervisor. Participate in regular stock checks and contribute to maintaining accurate inventory records.
3. Product Rotation: Implement the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to ensure that older products are placed at the front of shelves, minimizing the risk of product expiration and waste.
4. Price Labeling: Ensure that all products have accurate and legible price labels. Report any missing or damaged labels to the supervisor for prompt correction.
5,Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the shelves, aisles, and surrounding areas clean and free of debris. Regularly sweep and organize products to create a visually appealing shopping environment.
6. Customer Assistance: Provide assistance to customers by answering basic questions, directing them to specific products, and offering general assistance as needed.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including cashiers, floor supervisors, and management, to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation of the supermarket.
