**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Project Planning & Scheduling**: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and procurement schedules.
- **Client Management**: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, understanding of project requirements, and managing expectations.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and manage project teams, including joiners, carpenters, subcontractors, and site personnel; provide guidance and support to ensure project goals are achieved.
- **Quality Assurance**: Oversee all aspects of the joinery work, ensuring that all materials and craftsmanship meet company standards and client specifications.
- **Cost Control**: Monitor project expenses, control costs, and prepare regular budget reports to ensure the project stays within financial limits.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies; handle any project-related issues or disputes that may arise.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**: Ensure all site activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- **Progress Monitoring**: Track project progress against key milestones; provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- **Vendor & Supplier Coordination**: Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, and progress reports.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, specifically within the joinery or fit-out industry.
- **Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of joinery techniques, materials, and processes.
- Excellent project management skills, with experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and AutoCAD.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and costs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- **Certifications**: PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
