Job : Baqala Incharge

Location: Liwa, Abu Dhabi

Handle a Baqala alone
- Scanning items using a barcode scanner or manually entering item information into a computer system
- Verifying that items are in the correct bins or on the correct shelves
- Reviewing receipts to ensure that they were printed correctly
- Stocking shelves with new merchandise or removing old items from shelves
- Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits etc.
- Ensure all hygiene, safety requirements and standards of preparation, preservation and necessary packaging are adhered to.
- Managing transactions with customers using cash registers
- Scanning goods and ensuring pricing is accurate
- Collecting payments whether in cash or credit
- Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
- Redeem stamps and coupons
- Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
