**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
Ø Conduct internal audits of company operations to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with policies and regulations.

Ø Perform audit procedures to identify areas of potential improvement or risk, and make recommendations for remedial action.

Ø Review financial documents, records, and transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to accounting principles.

Ø Analyze data and information to identify trends, anomalies, or irregularities that may indicate fraud, errors, or inefficiencies.

Ø Prepare audit reports summarizing findings, conclusions, and recommendations for management review and action.

Ø Collaborate with other departments to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress towards resolution of identified issues.

Ø Stay informed about changes in regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to auditing and internal controls.

Ø Assist in the development and maintenance of audit programs, policies, and procedures to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the audit function.

Ø Participate in special projects or assignments as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**:
Specialized degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in internal auditing, external auditing, or accounting.

Knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, and techniques.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and information.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.

Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or progress towards certification is preferred but not required.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
