**Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park**, a recently opened hotel, is looking for an active **Guest Experience Supervisor** **to join their extraordinary team Ideally located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, in the most sought after residential area of Dubai. Minutes away from mega malls, magnificent Jumeirah Beaches, world’s leading tourist attractions and Parks, auto drome and over 5 championship golf courses. The Holiday Inn & Suites at Dubai Science Park will include 240 hotel rooms and suites and 84 one-bedroom apartments, anchor F&B offerings and an extensive 1026sqm cutting-edge meeting and events facilities.

**What is the job?**

Works under the general direction of the Front Office Manager, and within the limited of established IHG and local hotel policies and procedures, provides supportive functional assistance to all departments; interact with guests and members of the community. Coordinates with all departments in the hotel Promotes the desired work culture around the five core values of the winning ways and Service of the InterContinental Hotels Group and the brand ethos

**Your day to day**
- Conducts shift briefings to ensure hotel activities and operational requirements are known.
- Handling daily Front Office operations and ensure Guest Experience Specialists duties are hassle free so they can focus on providing great service to guests.
- Cover Hotel Duty Managers in their absence including night shifts.
- Handle overbooking situations ensuring the inventory in balanced.
- Ensure that team achieves IHG Enrolments target.
- Responsible of GES performance and development plans.
- Update LPU and ensure guests receive their IHG Rewards points on time.
- Monitor Valet manning and drive way operations.
- Supervise front office operations during assigned shift including:

- Maintenance of guest information.
- Maintenance of information about local events.
- Compile occupancy statistics.
- Supervise guest’s preferences and ensure guests receive their entitlements as per Brand Standard.
- Supervise group bookings and billing, attending GIS meetings.
- Room’s allocation.
- Assigning team member breaks.
- Handling glitches during their shift, recording, updating guest’s profiles and QEMS.
- Assisting with serious complaints following ILEAD.
- Supervise cashiering activities during shift including:

- Cash handling and banking procedure.
- Dealing with irregular payments.
- Instructing staff in credit policies and facilities.
- Instructing staff in cash security procedures.
- Carry out debtor control.
- Prepare reports.

**What we need from you**

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for:
-Previous experience in a similar role required

-Supervisory experience in managing guest expectations by driving the team performance

-Good oral and written English, additional languages preferred

-Strong ability to build and maintain relationships
