Lab Helper

Care Wet Wipes is one of the largest wet wipes manufacturers in the UAE and GCC. We were established in 2015 in Sharjah, UAE and have continually registered a meteoric rise in the number of clients we serve.

A laboratory helper responsibilities include the mixing of raw materials to create finished products according to the batch sheets. Also responsible for weighing the correct chemicals and sampling finished product to quality for approval. Has an understanding of all of the company’s products as well as all the mixing equipment.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtains and understands all documentation for batching products.
- Weighs up chemicals for batching. Verifies raw chemical usage on each batch are added correctly with correct weights.
- Transfers finish product into drums.
- Operates all equipment including tanks, mixers, scales, meters, pump, etc. Sets up and monitors all mixing tanks, vessels, and mixers. Cleaning all equipment, tanks, etc... as needed.
- Observes and follows safety procedures and S.O.P’s set by the company. Refers all issues to the lead/supervisor.
- Makes sure all chemicals returned to inventory have weights and are cleaned. Ensures all chemicals returned to inventory has the correct quantity and information on the chemicals.
- Completes all paperwork and batch documentation in a timely manner.
- Communicates with production when batches are complete and ready to fill.
- Monitors all temperatures on batches that require heating and cooling.
- Able to work with limited supervision
- Meeting physical requirements of the position, including walking, standing, or sitting for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, climbing, crouching, operating tools, and wearing safety gear.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

At least 1 year of similar experience, knowledge of chemicals is an absolute plus.

English is mandatory (Verbal & Written)

Capable of simple calculation (+,-,x,/) including percentage (%).

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
