Overview:
G42 Cloud is looking for an Information Security Architect responsible for the enterprise security architecture service that provides security architecture and design services to support cloud IT and Business functions.

**The opportunity**

You will maintain and work in execution of Security Architecture and Strategy artefacts, deliverables and processes. Additionally, you will also be in charge of maintaining and improving security service quality, ensuring that IT services meet or exceed service levels requirements through continuous review of service performance.

**Responsibilities**:
**Key responsibilities**
- Engage external service providers and customers.
- Ensure IT policies, procedures and Industry standards are implemented within the security landscape.
- Take a role in build and execution of the security strategy including service identification and definition, reporting and analytics with the relevant business stakeholders, Technology & Architecture teams and 3rd parties.
- Take part the proactive identification of Information Security related risks, issues and dependencies, acting where necessary to ensure swift resolution
- Take part in the relationship with business stakeholders, value streams and other IT functions, take action to address impediments, service related challenges, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, international standards and related G42 Policies and Procedures.
- Comply with G42 Acceptable Use Policy, attend mandatory information security, privacy, business continuity and HSE trainings.
- Report information security, HSE etc. incidents or suspect incidents through G42 established incident reporting channels.
- Maintain confidentiality of information and classify and handle information ad per G42 Policies and Procedures
- Manage Information Security architecture aspects, take part in decisions to maintain the integrity and security of the environment
- Senior level / Mid-level: Periodically communicate and organize information and cyber security executive management meetings to provide information on organization’s security posture, local and global threat intelligence stats, compliance management, security landscape.
- Communicate or share Information on cyber security trending threats, security best practices and compliance posture with customers, business & IT partners, with the previous authorization from line manager.

Qualifications:
**To qualify, you must have**
- Experience in security, compliance, and security operations in high-pressure environments
- Knowledge of the industry-wide compliance frameworks and implementation requirements, like ISO 27001, NESA, CSA STAR, SOC1/SOC2, and PCI-DSS compliances.
- Experience in development and implementation of information security services and solutions, ideally in a large-scale SaaS, IaaS and PaaS operations environment and architect, as well as monitoring and securing the enterprise IT infrastructure supporting a large employee base
- Data informed decisions to support conclusions and ideas
- 6+ year’s experience performing security architect role or equivalent in an enterprise environment, with demonstrable results and achievements.
- Advanced knowledge of and experience of processes and technologies related to Information Security services and awareness of the latest trends across all Information Security domains and services
- Exposure and hands on experience with SAST and DAST technologies for security assurance assessments.
- Experience with conducting security assessments and compliance checks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent is a strong advantage
