**Position Title**: Assistant Cost Auditor - FMCG

**Job Summary**: The Assistant Cost Auditor assists in examining, evaluating, and verifying the cost-related aspects of business operations. Working closely with the Cost Auditor, this role contributes to ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies, while also identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Audit Support**:

- Assist in conducting cost audits in accordance with established procedures and standards.
- Gather, organize, and analyze financial data, cost records, and other relevant documents.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of cost information through detailed examination and analysis.

2. **Compliance Assurance**:

- Help ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards related to cost accounting and reporting.
- Assist in identifying areas of potential non-compliance and recommending corrective actions.

3. **Cost Analysis**:

- Support in performing cost analyses to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.
- Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and recommending strategies for cost optimization.

4. **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Prepare audit working papers, reports, and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of audit procedures, results, and supporting evidence.

5. **Cross-functional Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, accounting, and operations, to gather information and facilitate audit processes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure understanding of audit objectives, processes, and outcomes.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Previous experience in auditing, cost accounting, or financial analysis preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Professional certification (e.g., Certified Cost Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor) is a plus.
