Job Title: Florist

Job Summary:
The Florist is responsible for creating floral arrangements, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall aesthetic of the event space. This role involves selecting flowers, arranging bouquets for various occasions.

Key Responsibilities:
Floral Design and Arrangement:
1. Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, funerals, birthdays, anniversaries, and corporate events.

2. Select flowers, greenery, and other materials based on client preferences and seasonal availability.

3. Customize arrangements to meet specific client requirements and ensure high-quality presentation.

Customer Service:
1. Greet and assist customers, providing expert advice on flower selection and arrangement styles.

2. Handle client complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently.

Inventory Management:
1. Maintain an inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and supplies, ensuring stock levels are adequate.

2. Order flowers and supplies from wholesalers and growers as needed.

3. Monitor the condition of flowers and plants, discarding wilted or damaged items to ensure freshness.

Event Coordination:
1. Collaborate with event planners and clients to design floral arrangements for special events.

2. Set up and arrange flowers at event venues, ensuring timely.

3. Provide on-site support during events to ensure arrangements are maintained and adjusted as necessary.

Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in floral design or horticulture is a plus.

2. Proven experience as a florist or in a similar role.

3. Strong knowledge of flowers, plants, and floral design techniques.

4. Creative and artistic skills with a keen eye for detail.

5. Excellent communication skills.

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Working Conditions:

- Florists typically work in a retail store environment, but may also work on-site at events and venues.
- The role involves standing for long periods, frequent bending, and lifting heavy buckets of flowers and supplies.
- Work hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during events.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
