**Job Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Fishing Boat Captain/Guide to lead our customers on exciting leisure fishing trips. As a Fishing Boat Captain/Guide, you will be responsible for navigating the fishing boat, assisting customers with fishing techniques, and creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for all participants. Your passion for fishing, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong knowledge of local fishing ecosystems and techniques will contribute to the success of our trips.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate and navigate the fishing boat to and from fishing locations.
- Welcome and assist customers, providing a friendly and informative introduction to the trip.
- Instruct participants on proper fishing techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
- Guide customers on identifying local fish species and share insights about the ecosystem.
- Offer personalized attention and assistance to individuals or groups with varying levels of fishing experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized fishing boat, ensuring all fishing gear and equipment are in good condition.
- Comply with all maritime and fishing regulations, including licensing, catch limits, and safety guidelines.
- Monitor weather conditions and make informed decisions to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Foster a positive and engaging atmosphere onboard, creating a sense of camaraderie among participants.
- Collaborate with the crew, if applicable, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Share knowledge about local fishing history, folklore, and conservation efforts to enhance the overall experience.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Captain's license or equivalent certification for operating a fishing boat.
- STCW Licenses.
- VHF Radio License.
- Proven experience as a Fishing Boat Captain or Guide.
- Strong understanding of local fishing ecosystems, species, and seasons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide clear and concise instructions on fishing techniques.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on creating enjoyable experiences.
- Proficient in handling various fishing equipment and tackle.
- First aid and CPR certification (preferred).
- Knowledge of maritime and fishing regulations and safety protocols.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under changing conditions.
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of operating a fishing boat.
