**Job Overview**: As a Senior Wedding Event Coordinator cum Interior Designer, you will be responsible for both the planning and design aspects of weddings, ensuring a seamless and visually stunning experience. **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Event Planning**:

- Consult with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements for their wedding.
- Develop and manage detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics.
- Coordinate with vendors, such as caterers, photographers, and florists, to ensure all elements of the event are in place.
- Oversee the setup and execution of the wedding day, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule.
- Address any issues or last-minute changes promptly and effectively.
- **Interior Design**:

- Design and create aesthetically pleasing event spaces that align with the client's vision and theme.
- Select and coordinate colors, furniture, lighting, and decor to enhance the overall ambiance of the wedding.
- Develop floor plans and layouts that maximize space utilization and guest comfort.
- Source and procure design elements and materials, negotiating with suppliers as needed.
- Stay updated on current design trends and incorporate innovative ideas into event spaces.
- **On-Site Supervision**:

- Be present on-site during setup, the event, and breakdown to ensure the design and logistics are executed according to plan.
- Direct and coordinate on-site staff, including setup crews and vendors, to ensure smooth operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the event, maintaining a high standard of service.
- Conduct a post-event review with clients to gather feedback and assess the success of the event.
- **Client Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on design and planning aspects.
- Conduct regular meetings and updates with clients throughout the planning process.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and mentor junior event coordinators and design assistants.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members adhere to project timelines and quality standards.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Prepare and manage contracts, invoices, and other documentation related to the event and design services.
- Maintain organized records of client interactions, design concepts, and event details.
- Monitor and report on project progress and budget expenditures.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Event Planning, Interior Design, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in wedding/event planning and interior design, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and event management tools.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage client relationships and team dynamics.
- Creative and detail-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional events and designs.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Willingness to work on-site during events, including evenings and weekends as required.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Certification in event planning or interior design
- Experience working with high-profile clients or in luxury event settings.
