**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Engineering Graduate with at least 5 years UAE work experience in Procurement Department is a must. Experience in water treatment, sea water RO plants, Gas power plants, SWRO Projects is preferred.
- EPICOR / Other office automation exposure is necessary.

**Reporting to**:

- Reporting to Commercial Director.

**Salient features of job**:
a) To review the lists JOs /MRFs. Tracking in EPICOR.

b) Review and Approve PO’s in Epicor.

c) Delegate the works to Purchase Assistants, Purchase Executives and Tendering Engineer.

d) Float the enquiries to approved vendors for higher value works/ equipment.

e) Follow up / response to queries till proposals are received in a formal manner.

f) SOP to be followed for floating enquiries and receiving proposals

g) Coordinate for certification of Technical part of the proposals with user Dept.

h) Evaluate Technical/ Commercial bid comparisons.

i) Negotiation with a strategy and as per HOD instructions to meet the company objectives / KPIs.

j) Make a proposal for management approval as per SOP.

k) Preparation of POs Explore alternate and competitive sources and achieve targets related to quality improvement.

l) New Vendor Development and Registration.

m) Co-ordinate to resolve issues with vendors / Contractors.

n) Work with team members and GM Procurement and Contracts to complete duties as needed.

**Safety Duties and Responsibilities and observations: (Should report to Concerned HOD’s on abnormal conditions)**
- Make sure that all are abiding by the UAE safety rules and regulations (Safety boots, safety helmet, uniform, mask and hearing protection as recommended).
- Abides by the UAE safety rules and regulations.
- Makes sure that all employees respect the safety instructions in the departments in order to prevent accidents.
- Ensures regularly that all safety and fire equipment is in place, fire escapes/exits are not obstructed and First Aid Teams are at required levels of training.

**Environment Duties and Responsibilities: (Should report to Concerned HOD’s on abnormal conditions)**
- Pays particular attention to problems caused by waste oil pollution of land, sewage drains or work areas, in particular around the work area, project sites area.
- Ensure that all SOP’s / procedures / instructions are properly implemented in the department
- Makes sure that all employees abide by the environmental instructions and directions.

**Salary**: From AED10,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ras al-Khaimah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
