**Risk Assessment and Planning**:Conduct thorough risk assessments for lifting operations, considering factors such as load weight, dimensions, location, and environmental conditions.
Plan lifting operations, including the selection of appropriate lifting equipment, methods, and rigging arrangements.
**Method Statements**:Develop detailed method statements that outline the steps, procedures, and safety precautions required for each lifting operation.
Ensure method statements are communicated to relevant personnel and stakeholders.

**Equipment Selection**:Choose suitable lifting equipment based on the load's weight, shape, and center of gravity.
Ensure the selected equipment is in proper working condition, certified, and suitable for the task.

**Safe Work Practices**:Ensure that lifting operations are conducted in accordance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Implement safe work practices to minimize risks to personnel, equipment, and the environment.

**Communication and Coordination**:Liaise with clients, project managers, crane operators, riggers, and other team members to coordinate lifting activities.
Communicate roles, responsibilities, and safety instructions to involved parties.

**Supervision**:Oversee the execution of lifting operations to ensure compliance with approved method statements and safety measures.
Provide guidance and direction to crane operators and rigging teams during operations.

**Site Inspection**:Inspect lifting equipment, rigging gear, and lifting points to ensure they meet safety standards before operations commence.

**Continuous Improvement**:Participate in debrief sessions after lifting operations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.
Update method statements and procedures based on feedback and changing conditions.

**Training and Certification**:Maintain a high level of competence by staying updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Ensure all personnel involved in lifting operations are adequately trained and certified.

**Equipment Maintenance**:Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure lifting equipment is properly maintained and inspected on a regular basis.
