Fruits & Veg Merchandiser

We are looking for an experienced Fruits & Veg Merchandiser who will play a significant role towards ensuring a fresh and appealing display, fulfill product orders and communicate well on behalf of the employer to the customers.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases/shelves clean and well stocked, checking codes, rotating products, and removing out-of-date products.
- Coordinates with the produce manager on appropriate store ordered quantities for weekly ad orders, farmers markets, in-store sampling etc.
- Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of the produce industry relating to seasonal changes and variety of products.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends and evenings.
- Manage inventory and pricing to achieve required sales and margin targets.
- Follow department procedures to maintain supplies, back stock and coolers with the ability to track product transfers and spoilage
- Maintain accurate department signage and pricing.

**Role Specifications**:

- 2 to 4 years’ experience in the produce industry
- Organized and able to prioritize/multi-task
- Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Professional appearance
- Strength to lift, push or pull heavy items
- Standing or walking for prolonged hours
- Strong work ethic and integrity
- Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: AED2,300.00 - AED2,400.00 per month
