Job Description
The Autonomous Operations Manager is responsible for leading the operational management of autonomous systems, including USVs and eROVs, across the region. This role aims to enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive technological integration, ultimately contributing to the organization's innovation and competitive edge in maritime and underwater technologies.
Job responsibilities:
- Monitoring asset utilization and supporting project managers maintaining accurate equipment rentals- Ensuring adequate numbers of suitably trained operational personnel to support business requirements.- Creating operational plans to safely and efficiently execute project deliverables.- Oversee the safe deployment and recovery of all operational equipment.- Maintain uptime rates of operational equipment.- Maintain equipment standards and technologies in line with developing business requirements.
You bring (qualifications & experience):
- Bachelors in engineering, Technology Management, or a related field, Project Management or equivalent based on knowledge and experience.- Minimum of 8-15 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of demonstrated leadership and management experience.- Working experience in a Maritime environment.- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.- Familiarity with current industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory standards.- Willingness to travel for project oversight, team coordination, and stakeholder meetings.- Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies and operational requirements.- A strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and quality control.
