**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including healthcare professionals, billing specialists, and IT staff, to gather requirements and understand the needs of the organization.
- Implementing and maintaining secure and compliant systems that adhere to industry standards and regulations, such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
- Creating and maintaining databases and data models for medical billing, coding, and EMR systems.
- Developing and integrating APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for seamless data exchange between various healthcare systems, including EMRs, billing systems, and third-party services.
- Troubleshooting and debugging software issues, and providing timely resolutions to ensure smooth operations.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in healthcare technology, medical billing regulations, coding standards, and EMR systems to propose innovative solutions.
- Collaborating with the development team to optimize software performance, improve user experience, and ensure scalability.
- Documenting software design, development processes, and system configurations for reference and future maintenance.

**Requirements**:

- Strong proficiency in programming languages, such as JavaScript, Python, or Java, and experience with frameworks like Node.js, Next.js, React, or Angular.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Full Stack Developer in the healthcare industry, with a focus on medical billing, coding, and EMR integrations.
- Relevant certifications in healthcare IT or coding (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CPC) would be advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of medical billing processes, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS), and familiarity with industry-standard medical billing software.
- Experience in integrating EMR systems, such as Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, Meditech, eCW using APIs and HL7 standards.
- Familiarity with healthcare data privacy and security regulations, particularly HIPAA, and the ability to implement secure systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality code, adhering to coding best practices, and delivering robust software solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or a related field.
