**Job roles and Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the circulator nurse to prepare the operating room and keep it sterile.
- Preparing the necessary equipment for the operation
- Communicating with surgeons throughout the procedure to ensure a successful operation
- Considering potential complications and creating a plan of action for the team lifesaving situations.
- Washing hands and arms with surgical soap before and after surgical procedures.
- Remaining on call to take part in emergency surgery.
- Performing initial counts of the sponges, instruments and needles.
- Helping with dressings.
- Monitoring patients as they stabilize from surgery.

**Job qualifications and requirements**
- Must have a valid DHA license.
- Proven experience as a scrub nurse or similar role in a surgical or medical setting.
- Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and operating room procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle equipment and supplies safely.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
