### Job Description: Project Manager - Infrastructure

**Position**: Project Manager - Infrastructure

**Location**: Abu Dhabi

**Experience**: Minimum 5+ years in infrastructure project management

**Availability**: Immediate joiner preferred

### Key Responsibilities:
1. **Project Planning and Execution**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, resource requirements, and risk management strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

2. **Site Progress Monitoring**:

- Monitor the progress of site works to ensure compliance with project requirements and timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections and oversee project activities to maintain quality standards.

3. **Team Coordination**:

- Lead and coordinate with project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication among all stakeholders.

4. **Progress Meetings and Reporting**:

- Conduct weekly progress meetings to discuss project status and address any issues.
- Prepare and submit detailed monthly progress reports, including photos and minutes of meetings.

5. **Financial Management**:

- Review contractors' submitted invoices against site progress and issue payment certificates.
- Manage project budgets and control costs by tracking expenditures and implementing cost-saving measures.

6. **Risk Management**:

- Identify potential project risks, assess their impact, and develop risk mitigation plans.
- Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle to minimize their impact on project objectives.

7. **Material and Drawing Review**:

- Review and approve material submittals and shop drawings submitted by contractors.
- Ensure all materials and drawings comply with project specifications and standards.

8. **Technical Guidance**:

- Provide technical guidance to contractors on all project-related matters.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.

9. **Health and Safety Compliance**:

- Enforce health and safety standards on-site as per local authority regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with established protocols.

10. **Inspection Coordination**:

- Arrange necessary authority inspections to obtain approvals and work permits.
- Assist contractors in obtaining completion certificates from relevant authorities.

11. **Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Address any issues or concerns promptly to avoid delays.

12. **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure that all engineering designs and executions meet industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate quality control activities and implement quality management plans.

### Qualifications and Skills:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing infrastructure projects.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in project management software and tools.
- **Communication**: Strong communication and leadership skills.
- **Problem-Solving**: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- **Regulatory Knowledge**: In-depth understanding of local authority regulations and industry standards.
- **Health and Safety**: Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce compliance on-site.
