Factory Supervisor

**He will need the following computer skills**:

- Autocad
- Sketch Up
- Word
- Excel
(Previous Job production incharge or quantity surveyor)
- Interpreting product specifications
- **Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions, and examining functionality**

Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complies with the client's requirements
- **Reviewing cutting lists and specifications to compare to produced goods**

Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes, and inputting data into a quality database
**Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence**
Proposing improvements to the production process
**Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements**
Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training
**Keeping equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs**Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and radiographs
**Collecting and compiling statistical quality data**
Assisting in the development of test methods and inspection plans
**Determining the causes of product defects and reworks**
Verifying all equipment is calibrated correctly
**Needs to be able to speak English fluently and able to read and write in English (this is mandatory)**

**Day to Day Tasks**
- He will need also to prepare the cutting lists using SketchUp software and calculate/record the materials consumption with Excel for each production
- He shall print and hand over the cutting lists to factory workers so they can perform their duties
- He shall look for mistakes of the laborers during the production to prevent failure of the production
- He shall instruct laborers to keep the factory in a good clean state
- He shall make task/production completion reports as each stage of the production has been completed for example: Cutting = done

Molding = ongoing ( 50%)
Coating = Pending
- He shall quantity survey the materials required to complete the production.
- He shall ensure the factory is running in an orderly and officiant manner.
- He shall ensure the laborers are completing production tasks in the right order to inhibit quality issues/defects.
- He shall present samples and productions for sign-off from internal management.
- He shall ensure machinery is respected and kept in clean and functioning order.
- He shall prepare a plan of action for production and seek sign-off from management before handing it over to laborers to implement.
- He shall ensure machines are being used correctly in a safe manner preventing damage to machines and/or persons.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

- Bachelor's (preferred)

- Supervisor: 1 year (preferred)
- quantity surveyor: 1 year (preferred)
