The Quality Assurance Controller is appointed and reporting to the Managing and has delegated authority in all matters concerning the companies’ quality assurance with the following functions. The Quality Assurance Controller (QC) develops plans and procedures for testing product quality. He/She maintains standards by verifying inspections and audits comply with food safety and quality and requirements. He/She determines the optimal operating conditions for the infrastructure and equipment and investigates technical faults or practices.

He/She develops standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with good laboratory practices (GLPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMPs). He/She also develops

regulatory requirements and guidelines in food safety management and control, such as ISO standards and Hazards and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system.

He/She possesses excellent analytical skills and sound judgement to establish critical guidelines, parameters and procedures within the laboratory. He/She should work well in a team and possess strong communication skills to interact with and guide others effectively for the following areas:

- Bakery and Restaurant Food Production
- Bakery outlets
- Restaurant outlets
- Food Trucks

He/She is responsible for:

- Analyse possible reasons for product defects and quality lapses.
- Analyse possible reasons into process deviations and for product defects and quality

lapses.
- Develop SOPs and infrastructure requirements food production.
- Develop inspection and testing quality protocols for materials, products and

packaging.
- Develop product and process quality metric reports.
- Develop sampling plans for quality control purposes.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) that are align with regulatory

requirements, industry guidelines and organisation's policies for food production.
- Establish SOPs and conditions for handling, storage and preservation of food.
- Implement plans and strategies to support provision of safe food products.
- Inspect facilities, equipment, products or production lines to ensure food is prepared

according to safety regulations and situational health sections.
- Lead quality and food safety and quality related audits.
- Oversee corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) implementation and documentation with other departments.
- Participate in quality management system reviews and promote quality and food

safety policies to all personnel.
- Review reports and develop guidelines and standard practices for data

documentations and analysis.
- Verify alignment of sampling documentation, testing activities and procedures with

established protocols to identify issues.
- Archive quality control (QC) records, test results and reports.
- Communicate to other departments in food safety and quality issues.

Qualifications:

- 3 years of work experience in the food industry in a comparable role or higher in an operations environment;
- Strong sense of accountability and commitment;
- High level of motivation and integrity;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Good written and oral English.

**Salary**: From AED2,700.00 per month
