Full-time English-speaking Governess/Governor required for G5, B7 & B9, located in Dubai, UAE. Live out. Salary AED 4000 — AED 5500 per week. Start ASAP.

A nice family is seeking a caring, kind, sporty, professional, and experienced English-speaking Governess/Governor for their children to assist in their learning, care, and development.

As a Governess/Governor, you will work with the children to immerse them in the English language through structured and planned games, activities, and play. You will be responsible for meeting their daily needs and offer learning at every opportunity. You will escort during walks and to additional activities, promote good behaviour, teach etiquette, and be a positive role model.

In addition, you will also be responsible for meeting their daily needs and supervising the children’s meals, supporting and promoting the children’s independence, and hygiene. You will be responsible for creating and monitoring a daily timetable and will be expected to liaise with parents, tutors, drivers and other members of staff at all times.

The educational focus will be to help the children master the international school program and develop their communication skills in English. It is important to the parents that the Governess/Govenor is not just a mentor, but becomes a friend to the children, able to interest them and build a trusting relationship with them. The children are well-mannered, motivated & active. The household is fully staffed.

The working schedule will be 6 days on / 1 day off. Working from 15:30 to 20:00. Saturday is the full working day working approximately 5-8 hours, Sunday is a day off. Flexibility is required

The family is based in Dubai (JBR) and travels frequently, the Governess/Governor will be required to travel with them and continue to provide fun, educational activities to the children, incorporating the world around them.

Salary AED 4000- AED 5500 per week

Requirements:

English-speaking Governess / Governor
Relevant teaching & childcare qualifications
Experienced in working in private households
The ability to speak Russian, Chinese or Arabic would be beneficial
Driving licence preferable
Professional, friendly, energetic, sporty & flexible
Ideally based in Dubai
Available to start ASAP
