Beyond Covid-19, G42 Healthcare is also developing a program of activities to support the health of future generations - ranging from genomics, imaging and diagnostics to digitization programs, manufacturing, and cutting-edge research.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities:
The role and responsibility of Wellbeing counsellors are to provide consumers with well-being counselling services and help consumers make decisions regarding health-related conditions associated with genetic and microbiome data.
- Manage your own consumer caseload by speaking with them on the phone, in person, and via video (virtual call).
- Take, analyse and record medical histories, and phenotype information to determine the likelihood that a problem may develop or reoccur.
- Ability to illustrate nutrition, fitness and other genetic predispositions associated with the genetic profile of our customers.
- Determining which genetic testing and microbiology tests are best for each customer if needed.
- Evaluate well-being and microbiome reports with the customers and communicate the results and recommendations in a professional manner.
- Acquaint customers with the concepts of inheritance patterns, testing, management, prevention, and resources.
- Use counselling techniques to encourage informed decision-making and assist patients and customers in adjusting their lifestyles.
- Advise individuals on the proper screening for their condition.
- Address moral, personal and psychological concerns.
- Support the creation and review of topic-related proposals to governmental, pharmaceutical, industrial, private and academic bodies

Qualifications:
Qualifications and Experience:
**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Genetics, medicine, nutrition, dietetics or similar.
- 2 years of UAE and international experience in genetics and in the laboratory.
- Experience in the microbiome is preferred.
- Experience in the UAE healthcare system and UAE Pharma Regulations is desirable.
- Middle East / GCC experience preferred
- Experience in DNA diagnostic testing and NGS analysis with the ability to interpret sequence data.
- Experience in understanding genetic traits in GCC.
