**Job Overview**:
As the Student Counselor cum Administrative Assistant at Atlas Group of Institutions, you will hold a crucial dual role in providing counseling support to our students while offering administrative assistance to ensure a seamless operation at the front office. Your commitment to fostering a positive and nurturing environment for students will play a pivotal role in enhancing their overall experience at our institution.

**Responsibilities**:
**Student Counseling**:

- Conduct individual counseling sessions with students to address academic, personal, and career-related concerns.
- Actively listen to students' needs and challenges, offering empathetic and professional guidance to support their growth and success.
- Collaborate with students to develop personalized academic and career plans, setting achievable goals and action steps.
- Provide information and resources on academic programs, course selection, extracurricular activities, and other support services.
- Work closely with faculty, staff, and other counseling professionals to identify and address students' academic and personal needs.
- Implement workshops, seminars, and group counseling sessions on relevant topics to foster personal development and academic excellence.

**Front Office/Administrative Support**:

- Welcome students, parents, and visitors with warmth and professionalism, creating a positive first impression of our institution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, schedules, and appointment calendars.
- Coordinate appointments with academic advisors, faculty, and support services as needed.
- Assist in the enrollment process, including admissions, registrations, student documentation and fee collection.
- Provide support to faculty and staff, including photocopying, data entry, and inventory management.

**Customer Service**:

- Uphold a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring all interactions with students and visitors are courteous and helpful.
- Respond to student inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues when necessary.
- Act as a reliable resource for students, offering information on campus events, activities, and available resources.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in student counseling, academic advising, or a similar role is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a student-centered approach to counseling and administrative interactions.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities, with an eye for detail and efficiency.
- Proficiency in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite and student management systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain confidentiality.
- Empathetic and patient attitude, supporting students from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Positive and professional demeanor, contributing to a welcoming and inclusive campus environment.
