Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute a strategic assortment plan for footwear categories, in alignment with overall business objectives and sales targets.
- Research market trends, analyze sales data, and monitor competitor activity to identify opportunities for product assortment optimization and expansion.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from selection and procurement to inventory management and markdown optimization, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
- Forecast demand and manage inventory levels for footwear products, optimizing stock levels to minimize out-of-stocks and overstock situations.
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews, evaluating factors such as product quality, delivery performance, and customer feedback, and taking appropriate action to address any issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging brands, and innovations in footwear design and technology, incorporating relevant insights into product selection and merchandising strategies.
- Monitor sales performance and key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing data to identify opportunities for sales growth and margin improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a buying or merchandising role, with a focus on footwear categories.
- Deep understanding of the footwear market, including trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools for data analysis and inventory management.
- Creative thinker with a passion for footwear and a commitment to delivering exceptional products and customer experiences.
