**Cut & Bend Wire Mesh Plant Operator**

is responsible for operating machinery and equipment that cuts and bends wire mesh into specified sizes and shapes. They play a critical role in the manufacturing process of wire mesh products, ensuring that the material is processed according to customer requirements, quality standards, and safety protocols.

**Key Responsibilities**:
** Machine Operation**:

- Operate cutting, bending, and shaping machines to process wire mesh as per production specifications.
- Ensure that machines are set up correctly with the right parameters for the type of wire and mesh required.
- Monitor machine performance during production runs, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.

** Cutting & Bending Wire Mesh**:

- Measure and cut wire mesh to specified dimensions using cutting machines.
- Bend wire mesh into required shapes using appropriate machinery, ensuring that the bends meet the desired angle and radius.
- Ensure accurate cutting and bending processes to reduce material waste and meet quality standards.

** Quality Control**:

- Check wire mesh after cutting and bending for defects or irregularities.
- Perform routine checks on the dimensions, appearance, and integrity of the mesh to ensure it meets the required standards.
- Report any defects or irregularities to supervisors and assist with troubleshooting to resolve issues.

** Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Perform basic maintenance on cutting and bending machines, such as cleaning, oiling, and ensuring machines are in good working order.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues to minimize downtime.
- Report any technical malfunctions or the need for repairs to maintenance teams or supervisors.

** Material Handling**:

- Load wire rolls or sheets onto the machines for processing.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of raw materials, cut pieces, and finished products.
- Work with the team to ensure raw materials are available and replenished as needed.

** Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety protocols and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, goggles, and ear protection.
- Follow safety guidelines to avoid accidents, particularly when operating heavy machinery or handling sharp metal wire.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors promptly.

** Production Reporting**:

- Keep track of production output, including the number of pieces cut, bent, and finished.
- Document any issues or delays in production and communicate them to supervisors.
- Report on material usage and machine performance at the end of each shift.

** Collaboration**:

- Work with other plant operators, supervisors, and quality control teams to ensure the production process runs smoothly.
- Assist in training new operators or colleagues on machine operation and safety procedures as needed.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:
** Technical Skills**:

- Experience operating cutting and bending machines, preferably in a wire mesh or metalworking environment.
- Basic understanding of machine settings, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with different wire materials and mesh specifications.

** Safety Awareness**:

- Strong knowledge of safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to identify and address potential safety risks associated with machine operation and wire handling.

** Physical Stamina**:

- The role often involves standing for extended periods, lifting heavy wire rolls, and manual handling of materials.
- Must be able to operate machinery safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment.

** Problem-Solving**:

- Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues and resolve production problems on the spot to avoid delays.
- Quick thinking in identifying and correcting problems with wire mesh production.

** Communication Skills**:

- Good communication with supervisors, fellow operators, and quality control staff.
- Ability to report issues clearly and accurately to ensure smooth operations.

** Experience**:

- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, especially working with wire mesh, is highly desirable.
- Some employers may require previous experience with specific machinery or equipment used in wire mesh cutting and bending.

**Education**:

- A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, though technical certifications or training in machine operation may be an advantage.
- On-the-job training is common for this role.

Pay: Up to AED2,800.00 per month
