**MAIN PURPOSE**
The Event Coordinator is a key member of Cartier’s UAE Events Team responsible to execute Cartier’s Key Events to support the business objectives and the growth of Cartier in the UAE.
Collaborates with a cross-functional group of internal and external partners to identify and oversee all aspects of event planning and execution.
**EVENTS COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILTIES**
- Participate in defining the event action plan inclusive of brand statement events and Boutique network animation
- Define and articulate the objectives, approach, responsibilities, timescale, holistic activations, and events strategy for successful project execution
- Brief agencies on the main objective for each event to ensure delivering the right proposals
- Propose design, mood board aligned with the event's theme
- Seek inspiration through research of best practices in the world to ensure planning the utmost proposal that fits within the brief
**RESPONSIBLE OF EVENTS ORCHESTRATION**
- Control the logístical and production follow-up while respecting deadlines
- Oversee the operational follow-up with the agencies before, during and after the event
- Oversee the planning, organization and follow up on each project
- Develop and maintain clear logistics plans including planning timelines and deliverables
- Onsite event support along with the ability to interact to provide clients assistance
- Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with all stakeholders involved in the project to ensure consistent, high-level service throughout pre-event, event, and post event phases
- Anticipating and planning for different scenarios while planning multiple events at once
- Establish and manage process, meetings, and milestones
**VENDORS SOURCING & MANAGEMENT**
- Maintaining a working relationship with vendors and venues
- Build a strong suppliers pool and strategy: develop a structured and relevant vendors' pool per types of events/projects/expertise, regularly assess vendors to constructive update and upgrade the pool
- Ensure contracting, negotiations and compliance for each vendor
**BUDGET & REPORTS MONITORING**
- Develop, track, and manage event budget
- Maintain accurate event records at all time
- Issuing invoices in a timely manner, and creating comprehensive and readable reports

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Minimum of 2 years events planning, and execution experience required, preferably in a luxury or retail environment.
- Good communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to create strong cross-functional relationships that build trust and credibility with a diverse team of internal business partners.
- Ability to adapt interpersonal communication style to a diverse team of internal business partners
- High energy with strong agility
- Flexibility in work schedule and ability to work overnight
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English; Arabic is a plus
