Employee Concerns Program Investigator

Conduct reviews and investigations of employee issues and administer Employee Concerns Program (ECP) activities at Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP) as directed to ensure a healthy and inclusive working environment for all Nawah employees.
**Employee Concerns Investigation (ECI)**
**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
- Conduct reviews and investigations of employee issues as directed to ensure thoroughness by following the ECP procedures and aligning with applicable standards for ECP investigations.
- Investigate concerns discretely and promptly, and communicate results to the appropriate levels of management to ensure findings are disseminated and addressed correctly.
- Review all site investigation reports to verify employee issues have been remediated in accordance with Nawah standards and procedures.
- Execute periodic reviews of all issues to identify trends.
- Support the conduct of self-assessment activities of the ECP to ensure effective implementation in the organization.
- Provide data to support the ECP, Employee Issue Advisory Committee (EIAC) and Nuclear Oversight (NOS) quarterly reports to support the Nuclear Safety Culture Steering Committee.
- Establish and keep a visible presence at the site to ensure staff know who to engage with for assistance in ECP matters.
- Verify applicable site and Nuclear Oversight Managers are aware of site ECP issues to ensure issues and trends are effectively managed.
- Interface with external organizations including World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO), Committee on Nuclear Power (CNP), Nuclear Safety Review Board (NSRB), National Association of Employee Concerns Professionals (NAECP) and others as required for assessments and auditing.
**Tracking**
**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
- Manage ECP activities to ensure intake of employee concerns are processed per the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and Nawah procedures and investigated in a thorough, timely, and professional manner.
- Perform ECP formal investigations as per ENEC and Nawah procedures, support conclusion development and support briefings and written reports to senior management to ensure findings are properly encapsulated and distributed.
- Maintain discretion with regard to the ECP Concerned Individuals (CIs) to maintain program’s integrity.
**Trending and Reporting**
**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
- Establish a system to track each concern entered into the ECP as well as the day-to-day operation of the program to ensure systematic record retention and trending.
- Execute trend analysis, evaluations, and prepare presentations of ECP performance indicators to the Nuclear Oversight Director and Nawah Chief Nuclear Officer (CNO), as requested, to provide an executive ECP overview.
- Implement lessons learned from investigations and improvements as necessary to ensure enhancements in quality.
- Provide input for periodic reports of ECP metrics to the NSRB and CNP to identify trends and key takeaways.
- Assist in developing and implement the program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the program and to identify areas for improvement.
**Communications Knowledge and Awareness**
**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
- Endorse the ECP through periodic communications and staff meetings to ensure visibility.
- Provide employee onboarding ECP orientation and appropriate awareness sessions in accordance with organizational standards to promote ECP and an environment for raising concerns in the enterprise.
- Conduct periodic "pulsing" of various Nawah organizations to identify any emergent issues or potential trends.
**Health and Safety and Security**
**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
- Ensure compliance with corporate requirements for adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to Crisis Management and Business Continuity in order to continue mission critical activities.
**Skills**:
- Bachelor of Science Degree.
