**Responsibilities**:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of carpenters and woodworking professionals.
- Plan and allocate tasks to team members according to project requirements and individual skills.
- Oversee the production of high-quality wood products, including furniture, cabinetry, and custom pieces.
- Collaborate with designers, architects, and clients to understand project specifications and design intentions.
- Estimate project costs, materials, and timelines to provide accurate quotes and proposals.
- Ensure the efficient use of materials and resources to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to create a secure work environment.
- Maintain and operate woodworking machinery and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and arrange for repairs or maintenance when necessary.
- Train new team members on woodworking techniques, safety procedures, and workshop protocols.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Maintain inventory levels of materials, supplies, and hardware needed for projects.
- Uphold quality standards and inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new woodworking techniques, and materials.
- Manage workshop budgets, track expenses, and identify areas for cost-saving measures.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter Workshop Manager or a similar woodworking leadership role.
- Strong woodworking skills and a deep understanding of various wood types, joinery techniques, and finishes.
- Leadership abilities with the capacity to manage, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
- Proficiency in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
- Problem-solving aptitude to address unexpected challenges during projects.
- Knowledge of woodworking machinery, tools, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and design drawings.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Formal carpentry or woodworking training is preferred.
- Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are a plus.
- Significant experience as a carpenter, including managerial or supervisory roles.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Physical fitness to handle manual labor, heavy lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Dexterity to operate woodworking tools and machinery.
