Role Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
- Review medical records and identify cancer cases for inclusion in the cancer registry
- Abstract and code relevant data into the cancer registry database
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of cancer registry data
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient care and outcomes
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required
- Provide education to healthcare professionals and the community about the cancer registry and cancer-related topics
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field
- 2+ years of experience in cancer registry or related healthcare field
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical terminology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and cancer registry software
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Al-Ayn: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
