**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement engaging chemistry lesson plans that meet American curriculum standards.
- Teach chemistry courses to high school students, including but not limited to general chemistry, honors chemistry, and advanced placement (AP) chemistry.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student performance through exams, lab reports, and other evaluation methods, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during experiments.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry.
- Collaborate with other science department members to align curriculum and share best practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with advancements in chemistry education and pedagogy.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school administration regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in school-related activities, such as parent-teacher conferences, extracurricular clubs, and school events.
