MEP Supervisor Job Purpose: The MEP Supervisor is responsible to maintain and upkeep all the MEP equipment at assigned area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Be fully responsible for the full spectrum of specialist HVAC / Mechanical, Electrical and Civil maintenance works for properties under his care.
- Supervise servicing and maintenance works done by technicians and contractors. Liaise with contractors on maintenance works.
- Issue maintenance works order (MWO - FSI/Maximo) form to technicians.
- Follow up on actions taken for these works orders, tenants’ complaints and requests.
- Ensure technicians are executing their works in accordance with their job descriptions.
- Response to emergencies and breakdowns.
- Where appropriate to the property organisation chart, be fully responsible for the maintenance functions of the property.
- Ensure that the work is done to the Technical Services requirements and standards and in accordance with the corporate engineering policies and standard operating procedures of the company.
- Ensuring that all technical tasks assigned to the technicians as listed in the PPMP or due to breakdowns of machinery are carried out efficiently and are of the highest professional standards possible within the company safety requirement.
- Ensuring that all the technical reports, files and records are complies accurately and promptly and submitted to the MEP engineer / FM as required.
- Ensure fire, life safety systems are operational.
- Conduct monthly engineering audit for properties.
- Carry out energy conservation programmes for the properties.
- Ensure there is a consistent drive for innovative approach in product delivery and services to both internal and external customers.
- To plan and organize training programmes for the technical staff.
- To conduct energy audits.
- To perform technical due diligence works.
- To be innovative to processes and systems, service delivery and problems resolution.
- Ensuring that all technicians joining the site are given thorough orientation on and are subsequently examined on.
- All fitted equipment.
- Stopping and starting procedures.
- Normal running parameters.
- Emergency procedures.
- Filling in of machinery running logs.
- Surveillance procedures for machinery and plant rooms.
- The PPM system procedures.
- Safety procedures
- Ensuring that all technical equipment manuals, subcontractor’s scope and safety manuals are read and understood.
- Ensuring that all non-routine work is planned in an orderly fashion without interruptin
- Ensuring all portable equipment’s of the site is in good working order and used correctly.
- Evaluating sub-ordinates and making recommendations/ comments to the SFE/SM.
- Prepare shift chart, risk allowance and subcontractors activity list report when and where required.
- Perform technician’s tools audit when and where required.
- Responsible for safety of the site technicians, equipment’s and machineries.
- Ensure that the consumables/materials are available in the site stores for maintenance.
- Participate in Emergency Evacuation procedures

Expected Requirements/Skills of the MEP Supervisor
- Education: Degree, Diploma / ITI in HVAC/Mechanical or Electrical related discipline with a 5 years suitable Gulf experience in a similar role and capacity Competencies:

- To execute any other tasks assigned by the MEP Engineer or Facility Manager.
- Ensure high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
- Maintains positive guests and colleagues interactions and good working relationships.
- Provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
- Willing to participate in training courses to improve skills and knowledge.
- Able to control a team of technicians
- Communication
- Teamwork Initiative and ownership Problem solving and decision making Leadership skills Must be able to manage a Site (buildings / areas) independently.

**Salary**: AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
