**Job Overview**:
The Insurance Coding-Quality Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of coding processes within the Insurance Team. This position involves conducting thorough quality assessments, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating with coding teams to enhance overall coding performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Coding Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct regular and systematic reviews of insurance-related coding work for accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
- Identify coding errors, discrepancies, and potential compliance issues.
- **Performance Evaluation**:

- Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of coding team members through quality metrics and key performance indicators.
- Provide detailed feedback to coding staff to support continuous improvement.
- **Coding Compliance**:

- Stay abreast of current coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices within the insurance sector.
- Ensure coding practices align with relevant healthcare coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
- **Collaboration with Coding Teams**:

- Work closely with coding managers and team leads to address identified issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to coding staff on coding standards and compliance requirements.
- **Quality Reporting**:

- Generate and maintain detailed reports on coding quality, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
- Present findings to relevant stakeholders and contribute to strategic discussions on quality enhancement.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities to streamline coding processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
- **Documentation and Documentation Review**:

- Review and update coding documentation, ensuring it reflects current coding guidelines and practices.
- Collaborate with coding teams to create and maintain accurate documentation.

**Requirements**:

- **Medical Background Preferred**:

- A background in the medical field is highly desirable, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of healthcare processes and terminology.
- **CPC Certified Coder**:

- **RCM Experience an Advantage**:

- **Minimum Two Years of Practical Experience**:

- **Expertise in E/M and Abu Dhabi Dental Coding**:

- **Experience in Submission and Remittance Analysis**:

- Applicants should have practical experience in analyzing submissions and remittances, emphasizing their ability to meticulously review and assess documentation for accuracy.
- **Knowledge in Coding Quality Checks**:

- **Experience in Insurance Tasneef and Insurance Audits**:

- Previous experience in handling Insurance Tasneef processes and participating in insurance audits is a valuable asset, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of insurance-related tasks and compliance.
- **Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Data Analysis Functions**:
**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or equivalent certification preferred.
- years of experience in coding quality assurance within the insurance or healthcare industry.
- Thorough understanding of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and other relevant coding systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills for providing feedback and interacting with coding teams.
- Familiarity with coding software and systems.
